Yes, that is my intent.  The changeover should have been done before
now; it was delayed because I didn't want to make the change before
20.0, but intended to be done soon after.  [Hint, hint -- somebody
send me patches to eradicate perl-mode from dumped code].

I don't see a cperl-mode.el in the Perl5.003 source, I suppose I'm not
completely up to date on Perl?  Just email me the cperl-mode.el-1.31+
to spare bandwidth.
