I don't think that would be smart.  Too many old-time (X)Emacsers
expect the old behaviour.  The new behaviour is better, but it is
incompatible.  Someone who doesn't know about the change will be
confused; he will think that undo doesn't work.  He'll have no idea
that there is now a redo on a separate key.

`C-^' could be another good binding for `redo'.  It is that way in joe
-- C-_ and C-^.  Or we could have it on both keys.
