When I run XEmacs compiled with MULE, there is a problem with
highlighting articles in gnus. I'm using (add-hook
'gnus-visual-mark-article-hook 'gnus-article-highlight) The problem is
that it seems like the highlighting of quotation continues some lines
into the rest of the article. Also, the signatures are italic, and the
last part of the article have the same highlighting.

I believe I reported this to the ding-list some time ago, that was (if
I remember correctly) with 19.14... I can't remember if anyone had
experienced the same thing, but I haven't had this problem since, so I
forgot about it. Now it's back, but only when compiling --with-mule.

So I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this. I'm using 20.0
on linux 2.0.27, and the problem occurs both on a tty and in X11.

Now to the other problem. Shouldn't xemacs -batch -f gnuserv-start
work? It crashes for me. I'll post the trace later if I get
confirmation that this should be doable. Or, maybe someone could tell
me the preferable way to start up a "daemon" xemacs.
