: Comparing against 19.12b25 is pointless. If you want to do a
: comparision with 19.12 use the released version. First, all beta
: versions had full debugging turned on by default and it has been well
: established what that does to performance. ....

But I think my twice-as-fast 19.11 also was compiled with debugging,
although I don't recall for sure.

What are all the build options that greatly affect performance?

Are the build options recorded somewhere?

Can one deduce these options from the image size?
My 19.11 image is 4.55M, and the 19.12b25 is 5.41M.
