I'm getting a bomb on frame creation.  So far I have only been able to
reproduce it with gnus 5.4.8 and 5.4.11.  5.2.x (whatever is shipping
with 20.0) doesn't have this problem (at least I haven't been able to
make it bomb.  This is with mule, and with separate modeline window.
I plan on doing more tests tonight (without modeline, without mule),
but haven't gotten to it yet.  I reported this earlier in message
entitled 'repeatable crash' (or something near).  Here is the relevant
