Yup, but... If XEmacs could come *independantly* with its lexically
scoped lisp, that would also cut crap such as "all XEmacs does is
steal code from FSF"...

Your last statement may be right, but what led to it is
(unfortunately) wrong, I think. If XEmacs copyright pb were to be
solved in RMS' view, I'm sure somebody else would point out a good (?)
reason not to stop this war. (Hint: could that be the same individual
again? ;-) In my view, the only way to win this particular war is by
not fighting in it.
