Of course it's only on SUNs -- sparcworks only runs on a SUN.

My solution to this problem is similar to Rick Cambell's solution.

Maybe someone that actually cares about sparcworks working properly can
fix this bug.  After that, maybe he can also fix sparcworks to allow the 
dbx window and process i/o window to be XEmacs buffers, and then people
will want to use sparcworks.
