Subject: saving *scratch* buffer
X-Mailer: VM 6.31 under 20.2 XEmacs Lucid

hey,
I was using XEmacs 20.2 at MIT.

In XEmacs 20.2 [Lucid] (sparc-sun-solaris2.4) of Wed May 14 1997 on portnoy

when I edit the *scratch* buffer I am prompted to save. At home I use
19.16 and don't get this behavior. I just thought that this was a 20.*
thing. maybe just at MIT, where lots of XEmacs weirdness takes place,
but no one is willing to upgrade the version. I have asked them, but I
think I just irritate the MIT XEmacs mantainers when I do. I wish
one of you guys would send a letter to xemacs@mit.edu asking them to do
something now. It would save us this wasted time of talking about bugs
and problems that don't even exist.

sorry if I wasted your time.

dave
