I think it's great that TM will be bundled with the next release of
xemacs.  But today, I received a tar file sent using mailtool using
Sun's own mail format.  

Would it be possible for TM to support Sun's mime formatting?  I know
it's non-standard and all, but it sure would be nice.  Metamail tries
to understand some, but it doesn't always work.
