The XEmacs Oracle has pondered your question deeply.
Your question was:

> Sorry if this is a sensitive topic--I've been out of the

> weeks. Are there still plans to do a 19.16 release?

And in response, thus spake the Oracle:

} Thou art arrogant mortal. Thou must relearn thy lessons!
} ** ZOT **
} Goodbye level 20.

I don't know. I've rethought my priorities after Hrvoje raised some
concerns on what I wanted to see in 19.16 (+ recent events on the
linux-kernel mailing list) and I'm not sure it's worth it. So long
as the bug address `crashes@xemacs.org' is deprecated (it goes into a
largely unread black hole), and Vinnie Shelton's name appears in the
top group in about.el (I haven't checked), I suppose we either don't
need a 19.16 or a blessed 19.16 tree can be made in short order.
