FWIW, I've had no problems with using Red Gnus the 20.x's. I've been
running both for over a month now, and the only problems have been
stuff like when lazy-lock 1.15 redefined text-property-{any,not-all}
etc.

However, I compile --with-mule=no. Which means that I need to
re-byte-compile lisp/tm/tm-edit.el for every beta...but that's the
only thing to be done.
