Kyle,

Changing vfork to fork did indeed fix my TTY crashage.  Gary, I'm
assuming you're also running on Solaris.  I'll note that I also
noticed lots of crashes with gnuclient in a TTY and the vfork->fork
change seems to have eradicated those too.
