This is an frontend (client) for BSD Empire version 1.1 patch level 5

It requires TclX 7.3a, Tk 3.6, and addinput patch for Tk 3.6.

Installing the package.

Move the Tcl/Tk script file (TkEmpire) to /usr/local/lib (or someplace
else if you prefer -- in which case edit the shell file (TkEmpire.sh) to
include this directory in the XF_LOAD_PATH list). Then edit TkEmpire.sh
to reflect the location of wishx and move it to a bin directory (i.e.
/usr/local/bin).

To run:

The stript uses EMPIREHOST and EMPIREPORT environment variables to find
the server. It also uses the USER environment variable to find your
username. The stript takes two optional arguments: the name of the
country and the representative name. If these are omitted, it will use
a popup dialog box to get these names.

The main GUI has a prompt area with an entry for entering commands and a
text area for output. There are also a batch of pulldown menus with
obvious meanings.

Have Fun!
