Best UPS

UUNET sells Best UPS products.  We offer a 10% discount on the 
entire Best line.  Best products are distributed with 120 volt 
single phase input and output. Optional software and cabling 
is available to facilitate orderly unattended shutdowns.

Units are complete with battery, receptacles, and six foot line cord
for plug-in installation.  Fortress features its own alphanumeric display,
showing load dependent runtime, volts in, volts out, battery
voltage, percentage loading, and alarms.  Best has the following alarms
on the Fortress models: low backup time, overload, overcurrent shutdown,
battery failure, inverter failure, high temperature, low battery, 
memory error, and site wiring fault.

Units are complete with battery, two duplex receptacles, and six foot
line cord for plug-in installation.  LED indicators for AC line, ready,
charger, and inverter.  Alarm with coded audible alarm for low and high
battery, near low battery, inverter on, overload, heatsink
overtemperature, high and low AC.  An RS 232 interface allows control and
display of 22 power parameters, 15 alarm conditions, and more from
a terminal or computer.

Rackmount units are available at extra charge.  (Note that these are
different units and not rack mounting kits.)

The Micro-FERRUPS and FERRUPS models include computerized 
self-diagnostic monitoring and control package.  LED indicators 
for AC Line, inverter, ready, not ready, and alarm.  Coded 
audible alarm for low battery, high battery, near low battery, 
inverter on, overload, heatsink overtemperature, hi and low AC. 
Multifunction keyboard and LED display. An RS232 interface
allows control from a terminal or computer.  All system modes, 
15 alarm conditions, 23 power parameters, outage log, etc., can 
be displayed on the display or simultaneously at a computer 
terminal through the RS232 port.  Includes a manual 
break-before-make bypass switch.

An engine driven DC power source is available for Ferrups models
to allow for cost-effective prolonged run time.


Deltec UPS

For those requiring three-phase power or larger capacities, UUNET also
sells Deltec products.  UUNET runs off of a 25 KVA Deltec UPS.
