INTRODUCTION
======================================================================
Message Parse is a utility that will extract information from email
messages either from a MAPI compliant mail reader or from internet POP3
mail boxes. You can define templates that tell Message Parse what you
want from the messages and where to store the infomation. Message Parse
creates delimited text files from your messages ready to be imported
into other applications like spreadsheets, accounting packages and
database applications.

How to Install
======================================================================
Message Parse requires the VB6 Runtime Library be installed. The VB6
runtime files needed for this program can be found at this URL:
http://www.simtel.net/simtel.net/win95/dll.html

Message Parse requires either Win 95/98/NT4/2000 as the operating
system. Unzip the download file to a temporary directory.
From Windows explorer find the application "setup.exe" and double
click the file. Once installed you can remove the files from the
temporary directory.

NOTE! To use the POP3 capabilities the following software requirements
      are need.

Windows NT4.0 - Service Pack 1 and Microsoft TCP/IP stack.
Windows 95 - Kernal Update (krnlup.exe) and Service Pack 1

Version 1.90 Release Notes
*) Fix to the installation program and update of windows components used.

Version 1.86 Release Notes
*) We have fixed several minor bugs with the new Eudora and Netscape
capabilities.

Version 1.82 Release Notes
*) We have added the ability to define local files at the message source.
Specific additions are the Netscape and Eudora mailbox files. To set the
mail source to a local file, you must edit the system options for mail
source.

*) We have added the ability to delete messages once they have been
parsed. The delete functionality is a global flag and should be used with
extreme caution. The available switches need to set in the system options
if you want messages deleted.

A WARNING ABOUT USING THE DELETE AFTER PARSING.
Extreme caution should be used when using this functionality. This process
is automatic in nature and once the messages have been deleted there is
no way to retrieve the message or contents of the message. Caution should
be used when parsing on one template. The delete functionality is tied to
the current running process of the MpEngine. Be sure you intend the
messages to be removed and not used by other templates you have created.

Version 1.76 Release Notes
*) Fix a problem in the parsing routine that would not capture information
correctly if the information is one one character long.

Version 1.75 Release Notes
*) This version was created due to the update of tool's that Cypress
Technologies uses to create this application. This ensures that users
have the same files that we have, making support much easier.
