What it is:

1) A World Clock
A World clock with unlimited configurable clocks, each with it's own
time zone, Daylight savings time rule, description, City, Region,
Country, and Location Code - all updated in real time (well almost ~
1/second). Choose from a list of many locations (check the web site
for updates) and add your own. Numerous Time and date formats,
Universal Time, Swatch Beats, Julian Date, Sidereal time, etc...

MAKE SURE your system is configured for your local time and time zone
using the control panel Date/Time applet! if not, none of the calculated
times will be accurate.

This module is small and was deigned to display any number of clocks,
the current date, day of week, and time in as small a space as possible
- minimizes to the system tray, with the tool-tip and application title
under user control.

2) System Alarms
Unlimited user definable alarms based upon the local time at any
location, classed as Major, Normal, or Minor and Non-Visual alarms
that include the ability to execute applications, synchronize your
clock, and to dial or disconnect from the Internet. Each alarm can
include an optional repeat interval, and when visual alarms are due
the user can use an optional snooze button to hold the alarm for a
configurable number of minutes. An active alarm will AutoSnooze after
25 seconds. The user is also notified at startup of any alarms that
came due while WorldTime was not running.

3) Stopwatch(s)
A stopwatch (count up) and timer (count down) module accurate to
1/100 sec with unlimited lap times and lap average (in count up mode)
- hidden until used. A Simple module that can be called up many times
= have as many sententiously running stopwatches as you want at any time.

4) Important Date Tracker
A module that tracks the amount of time since or until any specified
date at any location down to the second. On the left it calculates
the cumulative Years, Months, Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds
until/since the specified date. On the right the fractional number
of Years or Months or Weeks or Days are also provided.

5) Network Time Synchronizer
Uses the Network Time Protocol (NTP) to synchronize your computers
system time (UTC) to a time server(choose from a list of over
70 or enter your own). A choice of NTP protocols (Date/Time String
or Simple Time) are available based on user preference. Servers
can be cycled through until a successful connection is made.
Time sync events can also be scheduled to occur at a specific time
and/or when a dial-up connection is established.

6) Astronomical Data
Graphically displays the current phase of the moon, Daylight
Savings Time Information, Swatch Beats(see www.swatch.com)
Julian Date (JD), Modified Julian Date (MJD), Sun Rise/Set,
Hours of Daylight, Moon Rise/Set, Distance to the Moon,
and Moon's Age:The Julian Date (JD): Obtained by counting days
from the starting point of noon on 1 January 4713 B.C.
(Julian Day zero). One way of telling what day it is with the
least possible ambiguity.NOTE: The Julian Date is conventionally
referred to UT1, but may be used in other contexts, if so
stated. {Example: The date 1900 January (1) 0.5 day UT
corresponds to JD = 2415020.5 -Modified Julian Date (MJD):
Julian date less 2400000.5

7) Pop-Up Calendar
A small graphical calendar that can help to quickly find a
date, day of the week, or week number, accessible from the WorldTime
system tray icon or the main window.

8) NTP server
A simple time and daytime server for TCP networks comparable with
RFCs 867 and 868 with a small GUIinterface, command line options,
and logging.

9) Integrated World Map
Select Lat/Long and Time zone with the click of a mouse on a freely
configurable full GIS ready 3D world Globe and map. Includes some
low resolution GIS data with the ability to accept additional high
resolution data files.

10) Internal DST rule editor & system Time Zone editor
Create and modify the Daylight Saving Time rules used within WorldTime
and/or edit the Windows time zone entries in your system registry.
