Hints & Tips
------------
Although very simple Check Mail (POP) can be configured to alert in a number of ways. For example dog lovers could download free dog icons from the internet (there are loads of free libraries) and alter the icons thet Check Mail uses. The new mail sound can either be silence or any mp3 or wav file you like (a dog barking for example). The actual program is small and uses a relatively small amount of resources, it is best used as a replacement for not running Outlook or OE all of the time. When new mail arrives you can then launch your mail client from Check Mail (POP).
