INSTALLING WATCHET! ON WINDOWS
==============================
(readme.txt)
Last update : 7 June 2002
Version 2.1

Dear Watchet! user,

Despite the protestations of Microsoft you will find that not all versions of Windows are compatible with each other !!

So in order to use a product like Watchet! - which uses pictures, sound and video - you may need to obtain upgrades to certain aspects of Windows. In most cases, this won't be necessary with Windows 2000 but its just possible that you may have an old version of the media player.

If you have received a CD with Watchet! on it then the sender may have been kind enough to include the files you might need to upgrade.

If not, then you can obtain the smaller ones from the Watchetsoft website at www.watchetsoft.co.uk and the media player update from the Microsoft site.

This document is divided into the following sections :

A) Windows 2000
B) Windows 98
C) Windows NT and 95

I you experience any problems with Watchet! then please contact us by email at support@projcom.co.uk.

WE HOPE YOU ENJOY USING WATCHET! And don't forget that there are lots of new features - and new editions - arriving all the time so visit the website to see the latest !

Kind regards,
Watchetsoft Support

If you've RECEIVED AN AUTOMATED SHOW then you should see buttons to control the show, print, set your wallpaper etc immediately beneath the Slideshow title bar and above any caption on the show. You don't HAVE to install the updated common controls but you'll get more from the show if you do.
