I know that you stall it then tug it round but some guys sya you flick the line and others say that you just pull it sharply. 'tick' as in teachers ticking an answer etc.. But to axle, all you have to do is pull with one hand and release with the other when the wings are sort of parrell to the ground. I found that after a few times, a snap stall or spike breaks the lower spreaders near the "T". (none of those are done in the video). But, the Stranger almost always comes out of any type of "death spiral" or any screw up on the flyers part resulting in a really good trick kite. Axles are fun and easy. Think of it this way, don't try to fly it like another delta, this kite is STRANGE. Just watch the video again and you should get it. Have fun! I am certainly no expert with the Stranger, it was only my second kite (In at the deep end I always say !) but it was the first I learned the axle on. The are many methods and in my experience with the stranger it does not have to start with a stall, maybe someone will correct me on this. The simplest method is to: Take the kite out to the edge, turn towards the centre slightly, then flip, well more of a flicking wrist action, the outer line, making sure you give plenty of slack with the other hand. It really is quite a difficult move to describe you just need to do it ! Hope this helps.
