You're basically at exactly the point where the game
gets hard. How hard I don't know. Technically, you're
stuck on the very first puzzle, because:

Mad neighbor: irrelevant at this stage of the game

Invisible sofa: the fact that you can turn it invisible is not,
in truth, at all helpful; I just wanted to torment players

The boring wall to the south: A good thing to focus your
attention on. It's nearly impossible to say anything more
without giving it away.
