I have escaped the mouse hole and Faerie, from which point I am unable
to
proceed further. It seems that at this point I should travel through
time
in some way, but Merlin disagrees ("ask merlin about time"). There are
several other loose ends which I will ask about.

spoiler space:

What is the significance of the ball of wax? (I seem to have read a
review which mentioned that the ball of wax was useful in some obscure
puzzle.)

What is the significance of the golden necklace? (I can point at people
and make them turn into mice now, right?)

Are there available any items required for the Holy Grail's effect,
apart from the shinyarmour, Excalibur, and the Unicorn's horn?
(Drinking this wine over and over must be going to my head...)

Can Ariel be healed? (Or never met?)

What is the significance of the cave with the rock in its mouth?

Does this part of the game have a puzzle about Mordred in it? (He's
been standing there for A THOUSAND YEARS!)

What is the significance of the broken horn? (I'll blow it and run
away...)
