To clear things up: On the Amiga, Lurking Horror and Sherlock: The Riddle...
had digitized sound effects. STROTCJ had, among other things, a mumbling crowd,
a violin, the clock striking at every hour and more.
Lurking Horror had some, too, can't remember what they were, though.
At any rate, they didn't really add anything to the game. I guess that Infocom
didn't know what to do with all this disk space, when their games usually took
up something like 100-200 K, and they now had 700-800 K at their disposal.
