Spoilage on the Enchanter trilogy.

David Gilbert calls his girgol/blople solution to the ogre problem
in Spellbreaker a bug.

I doubt Dave Lebling thought of the girgol/blorple solution to the
ogre problem, however, even if he did know, he may not have taken
steps to prevent it.

The kulcad scroll (dispel magic) in Enchanter is an excellent case in
point. You can use the kulcad scroll on every magic object in
Enchanter, and there are a whole lot of magic objects in Enchanter.
(It's a fun thing to try, whether you've finished the game or not.)

I can't think of a similar situation in Sorcerer. Both one-use spells
in that game can only be used on one object successfully. There is a
problem where you have one zorkmid coin and two different places you
must spend it, but either place you spend it, you can either get the
coin back or get another.

"You dream of a nondescript room in which a cartoonish figure casually
opens a simple wooden door and ascends the flight of stairs which lies
behind. The scene fades to black, but you awaken in a cold sweat."

After you've misused the kulcad scroll, you get this dream:

"You dream of climbing in an unfamiliar place. You seem to climb
forever, beyond reason. A fleeting hope arises in you, and you search
furiously in your spell book and possessions for something. After a
moment, you become frantic as you realize that you don't have it! You
bolt awake in a cold sweat."

I thought the subtle hints in the dreams were very well done in that
game.

You can also disenchant the magic rope, and then just rezrov or cut it
open.
