Oh, goddess, don't talk to me about Madness and the Minotaur. I remember 
playing that game for days and days and days and days and weeks and weeks 
one summer (right after I finally managed to finish Bedlam, which 
*still*, to my mind, has some of the most interesting NPCs in it -- I 
never did get to see some of the NPC interaction it hints at in the book, 
though) (I think I solved two of three of the endings - the poison ending 
and the secret door ending) and never getting *anywhere*.

Makes me yearn for a CoCo emulator and a walk-through. :-)

(Actually, thinking about 'doubleback' makes me yearn for an emulator 
too. Now *that* was a great game!)
