The problem here is, the data file is really the only file you need to
run the game.  For several years now, as sharewhere, several Infocom
data file interpreters have been available for almost any platform.  I
myself bought the LTOI2 for the IBM platform, but have been running the
games on my amiga when I could.  I'll agree with you that Juan could
have been more civil however :-)
