Hugo RULES!!

(Hmm, okay, well, maybe this seems exaggerated when talking about a language
which wasn't even used for a single Comp2001 entry. Lemme think...)

Hugo RULES - in a shadowy, behind-the-spotlight kind of way.

(That's better.)

Ironically enough, the very reason why I chose Hugo as a programming
language was due to its "underdog" status. All the reviews I read clearly
indicated Hugo to be as good as Inform or TADS, and yet the number of Hugo
devs was significantly inferior. Clearly I had to rectify such an
unfortunate situation! ;-) The excellent multimedia support (including MP3s
and AVIs) is also a big plus, which I can't wait to put to good use in a
game myself.

I know some people might argue that Hugo lacks the RAIF presence the other
big 2 have, but I'll respond that what's lacking are the question
themselves - NOT the amount of people willing to help out. On ifMud, you'll
find several fellow Hugonauts willing to lend a hand, too. And it's my
impression that Kent Tessman is much more "accessible" than Graham Nelson or
Mike Roberts.

And with all the latest additions, like a multimedia Mac interpreter, and a
Palm interpreter with all of Frobnitz's functionalities and more, it should
be obvious we're on our WAY TO THE TOP! MWA HA HA!!

(Note to self - do not resort to evil laughter when trying to convince
people)

In all seriousness, I'm not sure what else I could say to try to convince
you to try Hugo. Say... How about a brand-new tutorial? Just give me a few
minutes... :-)
