Uhr, neither vim nor EMACS have anything to do with Linux specifically.
They're Unix tools; in fact, I use vi under DOS for a lot of my development.

It's called 'vim' -- it was based on 'vi'.  Why on earth should it be
capitalised?  There are very few Unix commands that are.
