Good question.  I'd be tempted to say it would, if the author actually uses
the word 'freeware' to describe his game, he knows (or should know, since
it's a common term) what that entails.  Personally, I'd rather actually say
(as I do, on my freeware utilities) 'This is freeware and can be copied
freely, but is supplied as is, with no warranties'.

But that'd make it a price tag, not a licence :)
