For playing Hugo games, grab the file:

if-archive/programming/hugo/executables/hugov30_wxwin_linux.tar.gz

or (because it likely won't work on all Linux
installations/configuration/library combinations, or if you want to build it
from source yourself):

if-archive/programming/hugo/source/hugov30_wxwin_source.tar.gz
and
if-archive/programming/hugo/source/hugov30_unix_source.tar.gz

You'll also need the Mikmod and wxWindows libraries installed, available
from http://www.mikmod.org and http://www.wxwindows.org, respectively.

(The first source package contains the wxWindows-specific sources; the
second package contains the required Hugo sources, which will build
text-mode versions of the compiler, engine, and debugger as well.)

Pre-built Linux text-mode binaries are available from:

if-archive/programming/hugo/executables/hugov25_linux.tar.gz

Hope that helps.
