Well, if you don't like them, don't use the software.  Looking at the three
MS retail boxes in my drawer, each one bears a prominent notice (back of the
box, top right, heavy black type, above the system requirements panel) that
one has to accept the enclosed agreement to use the software, and that if
one doesn't accept that agreement the product should be returned for a
refund.
