Doug Sharp gave this lecture about his approach to
a dynamic story in 1989 re: his C64 game "King of Chicago":

Obviously this is twelve years ago, and he was doing
a graphical game, and etc. etc., but I think it was
an interesting experiment; one that is hard to make
happen in modern commercial games for financial/risk
reasons, but that shouldn't apply to IF.
