The old mud Islandia had a demonstration area that was a one-room
"adventure" with something like 40 described pieces of scenery.
Each one was "brick-texted" to 79 columns; not just because the
author (frand, I think) could, but because that way players using
telnet on an 80-column screen would see correctly word-wrapped
text, despite the fact that telnet didn't word wrap.
