Those interested in educational IF might be interested to know that
Topologika
still (just about!) markets my old Giantkiller game in a variety of
formats.
9-11 yr olds, aimed at teaching maths concepts, poking gentle fun at the
fairy
tale concept. Reward for solving a puzzle is to get a trickier one. One
reviewer
said he'd had to work at the last couple of puzzles quite hard (which
was the
point). The program goes out with workbooks, notes, diagrams, etc. and
there
used to be a practice disk as well for some of the harder puzzles. Worth
checking
out by those in the field (he said hopefully).
