There might be a few people here interested in
taking a look at the current publicity stunt for
the Spielberg/Kubrik movie "A.I.". There's a whole
network of websites, mailboxes, voicemail, etc,
set up in the fictional universe of the film,
together with an underlying plot, puzzles to
solve and the covert presence of the authors to
keep things moving along.

It bears all the hallmarks of the people who are
making EA's "Majestic", so anyone who has been
curious as to what that is going to be like may
want to investigate.

Is it IF? Having pondered this question a while,
I have found it quite difficult to come up with
a reasonable definition of IF which excludes it
- though there are certainly other descriptions
which can be applied with equal awkwardness.
Whatever it is, I'm glad I didn't miss it.

Anyway, I'll go back to my shadowy lurker's
alcove now and let you make up your own minds :)

Good starting points:
