It has seemed to me for a while that it might be valuable for
there to be several library mods available, each of which replaces
all of the library messages to something with a consistent tone;
several such mods so as to achieve different tones.

To the extent that anyone has already made such library mods for a
specific game, I would encourage them to consider extracting it and
publishing/sharing it.  [I have a 3rd-person-past-tense LM that I'll
publish at some point though that's of less immediate use to most people.]

Beyond already written ones, people might consider just going
and making one.

As to how to do it technologically, I do it by making a class
which defines a LibraryMessage-style 'before', and then subclass
and extend it to create the final LM. [*]

copies of the messages being present in the output.
