I couldn't say about the annual competition, exactly, myself, since I
haven't yet "lived through" one.  However, I can tell you that whenever I
sift through GMD, I'm more likely to take a look at z8 games than not, under
the assumption that it's more immersive or involving.

Couldn't say about TADS, either, since I've played fewer such games.

Hmmm...Maybe that wasn't as enlightening as I had hoped...especially when I
mention that I'm also a fan of economy, so I'm likely to grab low-kB files,
just to see if they're "nice and elegant."
