But, contrariwise, the ZIP-decompressing module is in the shareware 
segment (DropStuff), not the freeware segment.

I like my .z and .gam files to be uncompressed. It's not like they're 
big. If you're putting together a runnable package for the PC or Mac, 
with interpreter included, then yes, compress it (in an appropriate 
format.) A bare game file, why bother?
