I kind of like this idea. But since it isn't stopping us from discussing 
it...

I hope our honored contest guru isn't offended, but I'd rather not have
"Whizzies". Named awards (Hugos for SF, Edgars for mysteries, etc) are
typically named after one who is A) an early master of the field and B)
safely dead. 

Now, Whizzard may in fact die before Avalon comes out, but... heh. Sorry.

Woodies? Ah, no thanks. Crowthies? Ech. Scotties? SA has, with impeccable 
timing, shown he is still kicking.

I'd go with "Blanks" just because it's such a great name, but really, 
Marc Blank (naka Mark Blanc) isn't any more dead than the rest of the 
contenders. Unless I missed some news.

Let's see, who's in the *really* early history of IF?

Oooh... if I suggested the Lullies, would anybody get it? Although he was 
more going for some variant of "interactive fact."
