	I've never understood the contention of killing the skink.  You
need a lizard killed in the light of a crescent moon, there's a crescent
moon there, you kill it.  What's so bad about that?
	Along the same lines, I don't know about the escape from Japan or
the soap bubble thing.  A growing paper bird?  If they had established the
paper had come from The Universe, that might have made sense, but that was
never established.  (Though it did give the Long Water warning, so maybe
it's just interpretation.)  The soap bubble thing I never really quite
understood--that would have to be one BIG boy and one BIG bubble for it to
work out right, and I don't recall the boy being THAT gargantuan.  It's
been a while since I replayed the game, though.  I really should do that
again soon.
