Not to mention all the additional work you'd have to do to port your C++
code over to other platforms that TADS and Inform already support with
no effort at all. Learning someone else's library/language is much
easier than writing your own. Either way, you're going to have to learn
new things to get started in i-f, and one major advantage of TADS and
Inform is that there are a lot of people using them already.
