Except where the game asks for a fixed font, of course!  I hadn't
realised that cursor moves didn't happen in the main window, but if
that's so, then of course it makes things much easier to understand.

How about Beyond Zork, or whichever game it is that draws a map?

(Anybody fancy writing a Z-code nethack type game?)
