Has there been word of an update to the Inform Designer's manual to
incorporate the 5.5 changes, and the library tweaks before that?

I am about to dive headlong into it, and was wondering if I should hold
off until a newer version surfaces. Yeah, I could look at the history
file, but it seems to indicate that considerable chunks of the compiler
specification have been superseded.

Andrew C. Plotkin:
I saw the beginning of your formal specfication ("Mr. Blobby has been
shot."). It looks like a great beginning! I did have some ideas about
it, but they were mostly about things that you indicated were going to be
changed anyway. If you have a more recent copy, could you post or mail
it? I'll try to provide some feedback for real, this time. As I said
before, I'm also going to be taking some notes for a planned library
