I ran a very silly game based on Infocom's Enchanter, one of my favourite text 
adventures of all time. I had everyone playing the same character at different 
points in his life, and if anyone got killed he reappeared with a new 
disadvantage, and all the people older than him also got that disadvantage. I 
ran it all as in the game (with magic), except that they turned the Adventurer 
into a newt so I had to cheat on that door. One of them survived to kill the 
evil Krill, as I remember.
