Okay, posted about this a couple of days ago, and no resposes yet. But
in that time I've came up with a new theory.

After looking though the source file amigaio.c I noticed that it can
generate .info (icon) files for games you save while playing. So i
tried to get ZIP to save an icon for one of my save games, but alas I
couldn't get it to work. Then it dawned on me... Like alot of Amiga
programs it only creates icons when ran from WorkBench (I always run it
from the shell.) So then I tried creating an icon for Zip, it wouldn't
load any data files that way.

So finally I came up with this: The data files themselves must have
icons that point to Zip as their parent tool. And perhaps these icons
have the necessary tooltypes defined to get the special features to work
on Zip (i.e. prop fonts, color, etc.)

So anybody have any followups on this or my previous post? Somebody
look at the icon information on one of your infocom games. Let me know
what you find.

THanks

Jim
