I didn't get an answer to my message on the board, but I talked with the
sysop, Doug Rogers, and he told me there is no new Mac version. But he
did say that they were going to release the source.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS:

Given that people have been willing to put in time on interpreters like
ZIP, where there is essentially only one game that requires the
interpreter (Curses, however excellent), I request that someone port the
AGT interpreter to a new Mac version. Presumably the old Mac source is
still out there somewhere and just needs tweaking to bring it to current
THINK Pascal standards. Barring getting hold of that source, it shouldn't
be too hard to port the DOS AGT Pascal source to the Mac, using TransSkel
or something for the "Maclike" part of the program.

I say "it shouldn't be too hard," but frankly, this sort of nitty-gritty
programming is currently beyond me, and I have other projects. But I'll
be happy to coordinate volunteer efforts in this direction: getting hold
of the source, getting the go-ahead from David Malmberg, etc.. I even
have a copy of THINK Pascal whose manuals have barely been cracked.

Contact me if you're interested.
