Hi again.

Not to spoil the long exchanges about setting up a shareware business :->,
but I have done some more TADS programming I would like to tell you about.

Dave Baggett (dmb@ai.mit.edu) described how he created an adaptive hint system
for his game, _Legend_. Based on his ideas, I have created a standalone
adaptive hint module for TADS. Using this module, I have added adaptive
hints to the standard example game "Ditch Day Drifter".

If you are interested in adding adaptive hints to your game, or if you want
to learn more about adaptive hints, or if you just want to play "Ditch Day
Drifter" with hints, I suggest you get this module.

It is presently in the /incoming/if-archive directory of the int-fic archive,
ftp.gmd.de. The file is named "adhint.zip". It will eventually be moved
to the directory if-archive/programming/tads/examples.

Let me know if you have any comments or questions.
