THE BIG FALL

INTRODUCTION

Jake Keems is a private detective in 1947 Los Angeles. Players will assume the role of Keems as he is hired to investigate a missing person case.

MOVEMENT

You can type standard directions to move: north, south, east, west, up, and down

INTERACTING WITH CHARACTERS

Greeting a character: greet <CHARACTER> (e.g. greet Sylvia)
Note: This will say hello to a character and suggest possible conversation topics. However, you may have to ask characters about topics not on the suggested topics list.

Finding out suggested conversation topics: topics

Asking questions about a topic: ask <CHARACTER> about <TOPIC> (e.g. ask Sylvia about Jessica)

Telling characters about a topic: tell <CHARACTER> about <TOPIC> (e.g. tell Sylvia about Marshall)

Giving objects to characters: give <OBJECT> to <CHARACTER>(e.g. give lighter to Sylvia)

Looking at a character: x <CHARACTER> (e.g. x Sylvia)

Picking up an object: take <OBJECT> (e.g. take trench coat)

Giving an object to a character: give <OBJECT> to <CHARACTER> (e.g. give lighter to Sylvia)

Wearing a clothing item: wear <ITEM> (e.g. wear trench coat)

Hiding behind an object: hide behind <OBJECT>
	

USING THE PHONE

Picking up the phone: pick up phone

Dialing a number: dial <NUMBER>

Calling someone: call <CHARACTER> (e.g. call Marcia Reed)

Calling the operator: call operator

Hanging up the phone: hang up phone

Answering the phone when it's ringing: answer phone

DRIVING THE CAR

Getting into the car: get in car

Turning on the car: turn on car

Driving to a destination: drive to <DESTINATION> (e.g. drive to office)

OPENING THE SAFE

The safe accepts numbers from 0 to 99. Opening the safe requires setting the dial to the correct combination of numbers.

Setting the dial to a number: set dial to <NUMBER> (e.g. set dial to 42)

tinhorn: a contemptible person, especially one pretending to have money, influence, or ability
