Hi there,

I've installed minix 2.0.2 on my old 286 laptop (well... what people
called laptop those days ;-) and properly runs. I've setup and wd8003e
card and also works, but...

	a) Every few seconds I get an error from the eth card driver saying
something similar to "CD beat lost"... it seems that it losses the
Carrier, but the card still works (I can ping and ftp another
machine)... Is there any smart way to remove that warn? If there isn't,
I can hack the code to remove it, but...

	b) My DNS resolver doesn't work. I've called the machine "raist" (the
magician from Dragonlance... all my machines are mages ;-) and I can
"ping raist", but cannot "ping bigby" ("bigby: unknown host"). Of
course, both of them are defined in /etc/hosts (using some aliases
"192.168.0.5 raist.eth.casa raist.eth raist.casa raist" and "192.168.0.1
bigby.eth.casa bigby.eth bigby.casa bigby.eth.casa") and nonamed is
running (shown on "ps ax"). ping-ing and ftp-ing using the IP address
perfectly works. Any idea?
