If it was the Tanenbaum book, (OSD&I first edition), then it didn't come
with a CDROM
IIRC, the Tanenbaum/Woodhull book (OSD&I, 2nd edition) came with a
CDROM.

In any case, Bill Marcum's reply points you to the proper source for the
machine-readable portion of the book.
