I know what to do for w95. I hope nt is similar. Boot loaders such as
the Minix loader--I forget the name of it--and Lilo overwrite the master
boot record of the disk. Prob. NT and Minix were struggling for
control of it and screwed it up. Under w95, you can restore the mbr by
typing fdisk /mbr at the DOS prompt. It will seam like nothing is
happening, but you will end up with a pristine Microsoft brand mbr.
Good luck and careful -- nt is NOT w95. There is a lot of linux info on
nt dual boot-- said to be tricker that other OS's.
